Costs and deadlines: The costs include accommodation, transportation to and from Cluj International Airport, tuition, and equipment. It does not include airfare to Romania, travel insurance, field trips, incidentals, and food and drink. A portion of the fee goes to support archaeological works. Please not, that although all the participation and accommodation costs are included in the fee it is always good to calculate some extra cash for personal spending.
The application deadline is rolling until all spaces are filled but can generally be set to April 01, 2014. Late applications will be considered, but priority will be given to early participants as the number of places is limited.
1- Fill out the Application Form corresponding to the project you wish to participate and send it back to Transylvania Bioarchaeology. Please attach a short letter of intent.
2- Within 10 working days we will respond via email to inform you whether or not you qualify and if there is still space on the project.
3- If accepted onto the project, you will have to send a scanned copy of your signed Application Form, and your bank transfer receipt for your deposit of £500. In order to secure your place, you will have to make sure that your application materials reach their destination within 2 weeks of receiving the notification of your acceptance.
4- As soon as we receive your application materials and the deposit, you will be officially registered and notified by e-mail.
5- The remaining fee should be paid no later than April 30, 2014.
